Terrain, waters and landscape
Despite the harsh structure of the Black Sea, it is one of the important hazelnut production areas of Türkiye. These alluvial plains, which form the base on which the center of Akçakoca is located, are more rugged compared to the large plains across Düzce. Detailed topography can be seen on the Harita.
